Stars In The Sky After A Mystical Sunset

The firy sunset seems to light the horizon as the stars and moon take their place in the sky over Northern Vancouver Island.

As the sun sets in the distance it lights the horizon on fire! The vivid and darkening blue highlights the stars in the sky next to the moon.

The lights of the island communities Alert Bay and Sointula glisten and in the half moon light and sunset light the calm water shimmers, silhouetting the land.

There are a number of special places on Northern Vancouver Island to watch as the sun sets, then the moon and her stars rise for the evening show on a clear night.
